IMPORTANCE OF SLEEP

Hey, don’t wake me up from my sleep. Ugh, why did you wake me up? What, why am I always sleeping. Well, I read somewhere that sleep is good for your health, you know. Wait, let me just stretch my self. AAghh. Ok, so you asked why sleep was important, right.

So, sleep is what we do every day. Well, almost! Because some people don’t sleep consistently. Sleeping 1-2 hours more per night can make you happier and healthier. And, we also feel refreshed and energised after waking up. It feels good.

Plus, sleep is also good economically, because the lack of sleep had costed the United States over $411 billion and 1.23 million working days annually. Showing that we can function better, if we sleep better. Some people also have things like insomnia, which is a party-pooper, cause it doesn’t help them sleep. But that can be resolved, by doing some breathing and meditations, of course.

But, you know how people keep looking at their phones and then directly going to sleep. We all know that it’s impossible because we would be staring at our screens until it's morning, but let’s consider. If we went to sleep after looking at their screens, then it would interfere with sleep quality due to the blue light.

So, just know that it's good for your health, and you at least won't have heart disease. The mind and body also need a little rest, rather than working like machines. Even machines need maintenance for them to work better, and so do we. On that note, I feel sleepy again. And, please don't wake me up again!
